Federal Labor has pledged to help regional Austra우리카지노lia by helping rural Aus우리카지노tralia reach an election commitment to raise its rural transport funding by 3 per cent over four years.

Labor leader Bill Shorten said the government was considering a proposal in the National Audit Office which would make $12 million available to rural communities in the Northern Territory.

“To achieve this rural mobility funding the government will work closely with community and enterprise partners around the country to make rural transport a priority,” he said.

“That means funding for local bus rapid transit, rural bike lanes, bridleways, mobile phone networks, and more.”

It was not immediately clear when the budget would be made public.

Mr Shorten’s statement comes after the Treasurer confirmed a $300 million concessional loan would be provided to SA to upgrade rail links in South Australia and Victoria.

He confirmed the loan would be repaid in full once new trains were running and the program was completed.
